accuton marine audio solutions.
you will find me where music meets the ocean.
What defines us?
Accuton marine audio systems are designed and developed to deliver the best in sound quality under the challenges of severe maritime conditions. Each individual driver we integrate, is thoroughly tested for saltwater and mechanical shock resistance.
Our marine loudspeakers are specifically designed for virtually invisible installation, resulting in clean optics without any compromise to interior design.
We expect the utmost from our marine products to deliver the best in sound, design and durability.
Diamond
CVD diamond is the ultimate material choice for speaker membranes in the high frequency range. It’s stiffness to weight ratio is unsurpassed, the internal sound velocity unrivaled.
The inverted diamond dome in it’s elegant, shiny black appearance features the high refraction of diamond and has serious advantages over a conventional convex dome. Accuton’s diamond tweeters are to be found in the most respected reference loudspeakers of today’s high-end world.
Ceramic
Through a complex production process, Accuton invented a light yet extremely stiff and well-damped membrane of alpha corundum or sapphire material about 30 years ago.
Compared to conventional materials, our loudspeakers with ceramic membranes have a better impulse response and significantly reduced distortion ratios as well as an increased bandwidth of linearly transmitted frequencies.
As we produce tweeters, midrange and bass speakers with similar ceramic membranes, all the required drivers of a loudspeaker-box can be equipped with the same membrane material, ensuring excellent homogeneity and neutrality of sound.
Aluminium-sandwich
This exclusive convex honeycomb membrane is currently manufactured to a size of up to 10 inches and is ideally suited for large bass cones. It is virtually indestructible, even under severe overload.
For marine use, we have developed a bass driver with optimal DSP system support, an appropriately chosen surround material, and a specially treated coated membrane and a robust protection grill guaranteeing a sealed waterproofed surface to withstand the raw maritime elements.
